This place was absolutely amazing! It was our first time having Ethiopian food and we loved it. The atmosphere was very unique and the service was great with friendly staff. My husband and I shared a vegetarian and meat plate that had an abundance of food! Very well priced and the bread is gluten free! Will definitely be going again

Love it! The vegetarian dish is my favourite. It is all natural, gluten free and vegan. The meat is a very chewy kind. The flavours are sublime. Some of the mixtures (lentils/peas) are spicy. The bread is tastefully sour, and is made of teff flour that has fermented in water for 3 days. (Some places use baking powder, which they thankfully don't use here.) It feels so healthy, that even when I feel ill and cannot eat, this is my first choice of food. I often take leftover bread home (you can call in to order in advance). It is tasty when reheated in the oven, for instance with added pizza toppings, or when eaten with fresh homemade labaneh and olive oil. About the service: The workers and owners are kind, but most of the time when you will come in, you won't get attended to. I often go to the kitchen to ask the cook for what I want, directly. The food mostly arrives fast and fresh, although once or twice I waited a long time or the bread arrived a too dry to eat. This is rare though. Because the injera is made 3 days in advance, sometimes the place can run out of supply before the end of the day.
