We went for brunch today. I wish I could give service 10 stars and everything else was incredible too! Very imaginative food, clearly quality, fresh ingredients, micro greens and edible flowers sprinkled over dishes, home made pickles… We are from KC and love to go places that have been nominated or won James Beard Awards, this place is every bit as good as those. We sat on the patio and were able to take our puppy with us, table next to us had a small dog too, the tables without dogs either stopped by to say “hi” or smiled at their presence.
My wife is newly gluten and dairy free and my daughter (at UA who brought us there) is dairy free too, the waiter knew exactly what they could have and alternatives. I feel terrible that I didn’t tip more, I was on auto pilot.
The menu and all of our meals were incredible, so fun to taste the chefs creativity. Large portions too, with more than reasonable prices.
So glad my daughter caught some of my culinary interests and took us there.
