Hamby's

We love Hamby’s! They have delicious food and the feel of an old school hamburger joint. Great gluten free buns too! (Not sure if safe for celiac though.)

Hubby and I stopped here while walking around Main St Boerne. Sign says Texas Wagyu beef so we were amazed at the reasonable prices for a burger but then we got our burgers. Mine was a single, the meat was so thin it was floppy and I couldn't really taste it as it was overwhelmed by the bun. so I discarded one half of the bun and folded it like a taco to "double" the meat. That helped a lot. The fries were great, the service was good. They do offer a gluten free bun for those that need it. I personally would rather they raise the price a little and give a decent size meat patty but they may have tried that and it didn't go over well. Next time I will get a double or triple. Hubby had the double and really liked it.
