Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream San Marcos

Handles ice cream is hands-down the best ice cream in San Diego county. It’s homemade and absolutely delicious. My favorite flavors are coffee chocolate chip, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, butter pecan, and pistachio. Because it’s homemade, I do not have problems eating it like I do with other ice creams that are highly processed. They also have vegan and gluten free options and my friend loved the mango and coconut ones. The employees are incredibly sweet and it is always a pleasure to go to this location. Parking is plenty full! If you like ice cream, this is the place for you!

I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to Rylan! One of our party had a gluten allergy and Rylan was very conscientious about this. He made sure to confirm that the ice cream and add-ins we had ordered were gluten-free. He went above and beyond - THANK YOU!
