Lured in by the extensive gluten free menu. Not sure if we just chose poorly or it was an off night, but not impressed. The white tuna did not taste fresh and was very fishy. The rice was a little dry and chewier than most other sushi I’ve had. The Pittsburg roll wasn’t bad but the clumsy chunks of cucumber were off-putting. The spicy salmon roll was not enjoyable. The salmon was fine, but the spicy mayo did not seem to be made with sriracha. It appeared to be house made with red pepper flakes and lacked the sweetness of Kewpie mayo. The California roll was good. The Tori nigiri was good. Would have loved to try the edamame but could not because they use the same water to steam shrimp which is an allergy at our table. The music was way too loud. It was 90s skewed which was fine. It was a little toasty- would have appreciated stronger A/C. Waiter was friendly. There was a parking lot directly across the street where you could see your car. Parking is $21. There is currently construction on Blake Street which made it a little difficult navigating.
