I wouldn’t have bothered with a review, but they sent an email. It was terrible! Firstly I stood in line for booked patrons and a waitress barged past me twice, one time pushing my back without saying excuse me. Then I ordered wine and 20 mins later I had to chase it up. Then we ordered food and it all came out cold and at different times. I ordered gluten free gyozas (gf friends don’t bother) and was served soy sauce - vs tamari. People around me were chasing up orders, places to sit, drinks and food. Bearing in mind we order via an app. The app crashed several times, which made the whole thing frustrating. Thursday night, darling harbour, big show at the ICC - maybe try harder.

I came here because of the "gluten free" menu however upon arriving, it might be gluten free but alas, I'd argue that the place is not particularly Coeliac friendly. Whilst they know the difference between Coeliac and gluten free (which is appreciated) there isn't anything on the menu that states that they have a shared fryer and when push comes to shove there are only a handful of safeish gluten free options. After placing my first order, the staff came up to me and explained that they had a shared fryer so items weren't safe for me. They then asked me to reorder something safer, out of the two or three options available, which I did. After waiting 25 minutes for my food, I asked a server about it and it came within a few minutes. Not even 20 minutes later I was puking my guts up so unsure if they made me a gluten free option or just rushed through any prep considering the delay; either way, I am still feeling under the weather as is the case with any unexpected glutening. Whilst if you're normal, I think this place would be great and it was absolutely pumping, I wouldn't bother if you have Coeliac Disease.

Great dinner experience! We had an amazing dinner at Harajuku with excellent gluten free options, food was delicious, service great. Had a really good vibe. Reasonably priced food too. Highly recommend.
