Harbour Ice Cream

Visited Harbour ice-cream last week, as a coeliac I noticed they had gluten free cones advertised. The assistant couldn't have been more helpful, advising which ice-creams were suitable, changing gloves and steam cleaning the scoop, also delicious ice-cream and generous portions as well. Excellent, highly recommended.

Couldn’t give anything less than 5 stars. I am diagnosed coeliac and strictly gluten free. It’s rare to be able to get a “grab and go option” but today was the best experience! I spoke to a lady who was serving (said she was relatively new to the business) She instantly showed me the allergen chart for each ice cream flavour. Gluten free cones were kept completely separate to the normal ones. Gloves completely changed, scoops washed and rinsed in boiling water and didn’t have to ask before the lady offered to get fresh scoops from new tubs out the back! Felt extremely safe and they were more than happy to take the time and care needed. This was very much appreciated!
