Following on from my review, here is a photo of the bowl of mashed potato with the shoe-string onions on still on it on the right. As I said, extremely poor from who could potentially have made me ill. Very careless. They’d do well to learn from London, Piccadilly Square’s HRC who I’d say are the best in the world, followed by Barcelona’s. Please, beware.

Most disappointed with HRC New York. Firstly the fries weren’t available, so thought I’d opt for the mash potato. However, when my meal was delivered, which was the pulled pork sandwich, it had the shoe-string onions on, which I had noted were not gluten-free and shouldn’t have therefore been on my meal. I spoke to the waitress who apologised and took my meal back to the kitchen where I was assured it would be made afresh. But, when it returned, the bowl of mashed potato still had remnants of the shoe-string onions on it. At this point I really didn’t want to send my meal back agsin as I had now lost all confidence in HRC and didn’t want to return my meal twice. My concern is, had I not noticed that the menu stated that the gluten-free meal should have come without the onions, I may have eaten them and been ill. Very poor from HRC from whom I expected far more. Sadly it was my Birthday meal too. I wouldn’t therefore recommend them.

Friendly service, menu was family friendly- gluten free menu was available- waitstaff asked about allergens. Lots of seating, wasn’t busy when we went so service was quick.
