What happens when they bring food to your table that has been exposed to cross contamination?
On October 12th (yes, I'm just writing this review) I went to eat at the restaurant, after sightseeing around the city, on my birthday weekend. The waitress (Scarlet) was nice and took my order correctly. I explained that I have celiac disease and she kindly told me that my food would be gluten free.
Someone else handed me my food, everything looked good, the bread was gluten free, but it seemed that the seasoning they put on the fries had barley in it.
I did eat fries and had already taken a bite of my sandwich. Scarlet apologized and then Brent the manager came over, he told me that he yelled at everyone in the kitchen, he took the time to apologize and offered us to waive the bill, a dessert and they made me another gluten free dish.
The reactions I had afterwards were nausea, abdominal pain, constipation and the allergic reaction that I show in the photos.
I hope you take seriously the preparation of the food for people like me who have a food allergy. I didn't die, but it did ruin part of my plans for my birthday trip.
