Very good service from our waiter Anya, always smiling and attentive and thank you for catering for gluten free.

Arrived to find they were one chef down and could not offer the full menu - just the lunchtime menu. Rather disappointed they had not emailed, texted or phoned to inform us beforehand - especially as we had received an email the day before reminding us of our reservation. My friend had come down from London for our first post-Covid catch up and we were looking forward to the full menu. Do appreciate, though, with all the pinging going on it is difficult to manage (although not sure if this was the reason). I have to say they were very apologetic. Service was very attentive and I had the lunchtime fish and chips which were AMAZING. Perfectly cooked and a real treat as they offer a gluten free version. The batter was so light and with a slight touch of dill, I believe, which was very scrummy. I would definitely go back again, just for this, alone and would give this 5 stars. My friend had the chicken salad - whilst the chicken was delicious and very moist, the salad itself was a little disappointing ... an awful lot of lettuce (she estimated approximately half of the dish) and just one type of lettuce rather than a variety. If a Cob Salad could be offered instead, that would be a real contender. Am looking forward to returning for one evening and (hopefully) trying the full menu
