Harris Farm Markets Bowral

I always buy a plant even if I don't need it on the way into Harris Farm Markets in Bowral. People think Harris Farm is expensive, but watch the prices and there are lots of bargains. I buy the inseason fruit and it is a reasonable price. There is a cheese reduced price section, and I try a different cheese each week. I like how they have a range of gluten free items and I buy the cutaway creek locally made jams too. The restrooms need a revamp, but they are clean. And if you get carried away and buy lots of things, the cashiers will organise someone to help you take your boxes back to the car.

We were really happy to pop into a Harris Farm in a somewhat rural area ....what a disappointment today. The produce inside was old and looked terrible quality and the outside plants were expensive and most needed a whole lot of water and LOVE. We bought our usual gluten free packaged items and a few drinks. Even though we don't live in the area- we thought this might have been a fantastic opportunity to support local growers.
