Harvest Restaurant at Newrybar, Byron Hinterland area is a fantastic spot to lunch and then trek around this historic town offering galleries, antiques, bric-a-brac shops and boutiques. All the shops are dog friendly, including Harvest. The Restaurant and their Deli are surrounded by a beautiful garden, growing many of their own produce. The restaurant has a number of vegan dishes we could choose, and the pasta was veganised for us. We decided on the two starters to share for lunch. The delicious crispy eggplant pieces sitting on a bed of grilled capsicum and steamed cauliflower with hummus and pesto. For the main we had a gluten free, vegan pasta with smoked tomato plus sourdough bread. They are licensed and have non alcoholic cocktails.

Harvest was recommended by a friend and I am so glad we listened and visited. We tried the oysters, burrata, sourdough, prawns, fish, roasted cauliflower with the fries. All food was excellent. Great choice of wines and cocktails and mocktails. Gluten free was well catered for. The staff were first class and the ambience very pleasant indeed. Plenty of parking. Will be back.
