Harvester Jolly Badger Edgware

Poor experience unfortunately, On Friday the 17th of January we visited after my son finished his work experiencelocally, I have celiac disease and was told I should have checked the menu before arriving, then the waiter shoved a tablet in my hand and told to sign this. When asked what it was? Then said it's so you don't sue us!!! When food arrived, it came 15 minutes apart !!

My husband has a gluten allergy and when we 1st arrived the host told us that the waitress would tell us what was available for my husband to eat. Once seated the waitress had to go off and deal with an incident at the bar leaving us sitting around. Eventually she returned an took our order an told us which food my husband could have. We Eventually got our bowls for salad, after my husband got his the waitress got very panicked about potential cross contamination an took the bowl of salad off my husband an said she'd do it for him. We then then said but that can cause more cross contamination. The host/manger who seated us then came over an said to waitress if he wants to serve himself that's fine but he'll (meaning my husband) had to sign a disclaimer! All this talking about a disclaimer whilst my husband is sitting there like his not there or consulted. The manager brought the tablet over to the table an just said sign here without explaining what was happening. He was very rude, an very unprofessional. A joke was made later on to the waitress about there not being any taste to gluten free food anyway! I most certainly wouldn't return to this harvester, people very unprofessional an we had to ask several times for things. My son had two fried eggs as a side because his autistic an they came in a bowl swimming in oil. I personally don't think the host/manger understands allergies and find them joke because that's how he acted whilst we were visiting.
