Went for a birthday meal with my family. Have been previously earlier in the year and the staff remembered us and our dog which was lovely. JoJo was attentive and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - thankyou. Warm welcome with friendly staff. Great gluten free choices on the menu and easily accessible allergy information on the online menu. Dog friendly too with treats, blankets and water on offer for our cockapoo. We will be back, thank you

It’s quite a while since I last visited this pub so I was keen to go based on a family member’s recommendation. It’s recently had renovations & the COVID measures in place are reassuring. The food menu has all the usual pub classics and service was friendly & efficient. Our group of 4 went for Saturday lunch, and 3 opted for a steak & enjoyed it with an upgrade to sweet potato chips for an extra £1. Although, I’ve given it 4 stars I didn’t feel the menu was very inventive & it was really lacking for vegans or anyone with a gluten intolerance. Large free carpark & a lovely big garden are added bonuses so happy to recommend but check the menu first if you have any dietary restrictions.
