We were passing through Shelburne Falls once again. Much to our surprise we stumbled on to Hearty Eats. We travel by motorcycles and it’s always a challenge to find a healthy place to eat that offers gluten free items. This place is all gluten free. We got Lima Bean & Kale soup that’s was delicious. We also shared the Fish Bits which was beyond delicious. This will be a stop we’ll make each time we come through Shelburne Falls.

Road trips can be tricky when you have Celiac but this place made a lovely trip even better by offering a worry free gluten free menu. Even if you have allergies beyond gluten or dairy, there is opportunity to share that information when ordering and also all ingredients are listed on the menu - no surprises!Ordering is very easy since you have the option to 1. Order at the touchscreen 2. Order from your phone 3. Or order at the counter but don't let that be a turn off as there are plenty of friendly staff buzzing around to assist with anything you need! I dined with my husband and two kids (9 and 11) and everyone enjoyed their meals: rice bowl with added fried fish, falafel salad, and both kids enjoyed the fish and chips. The restaurant is easy to find, right in the heart of Shelburne Falls, with easy parking and access to the beautiful attractions of the area. 100% worth the stop!
