Hedera’s serves truly delicious food. The pan-seared tuna was absolutely magnificent—and the appetizers were strong. Every person in our party of seven thoroughly enjoyed their meal, with special praise for the coconut rice. The kitchen is clearly led by a talented chef, and the culinary experience is the restaurant’s strongest asset. And cheers to multiple well-flavored gluten free options.
Our server, a kind and attentive older gentleman, made sure we were well taken care of. Although Hedera’s doesn’t serve alcohol, we learned we could purchase and bring wine from wine bar across the street. Our server provided wine glasses and uncorked the bottles for us.
That said, the restaurant is still growing into itself. The bar, while stylish, is dedicated to somewhat pricey mocktails, and the overall dining experience is more casual than refined. With limited staffing, wait times were longer than ideal—about 25 minutes for appetizers and 40 for entrees.
