***DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR THOSE WITH CELIAC***(See second paragraph.) We chose Hello Dumpling, because it was close and had gluten free menu options. (I have a gluten sensitivity.) My son and I ordered the chicken rice dumplings, crispy basil chicken and chicken skewers - all of which were marked as gluten free on their menu. (My boyfriend got the beef noodle soup and the pork pan-fried dumplings and had no complaints.) I was overall disappointed in my son's and my food. The rice dumplings were more like wet sushi balls ("wet" meaning the rice was not very sticky), and the dipping sauce made the overall taste even worse. The crispy basil chicken was okay, but I didn't really taste much basil. It was nice to be able to go out and order something like popcorn chicken, I will admit. But it did not come with any dipping sauce and should have really had some. The skewers were a little dry but were otherwise okay. My son ate all three with no complaints. I also got the Golden Milk Tea with boba made with soy milk (I also have a dairy restriction but it's allowable in small amounts, and I order milk tea from various places all the time with boba or other toppings with no trouble), and it tasted kinda like cereal milk. I couldn't really taste the tea, but the soy milk just might have been too overpowering. ***Later on that afternoon, I got very sick in a way that meant I had eaten gluten at some point, and this was the only place we had eaten out that day. And I did not have any of my boyfriend's food, nor did he eat from mine until I was finished eating. So I unfortunately will not be back. I might have given it a second try and just ordered something different, but having a reaction like that is too much of a risk.

I expected homemade noodles but they did not taste or have the bite of fresh. The Beef Noodle Soup was a large portion of five spice flavor only, the beef was tender but again only five spice. Pork noodle sauce was sweet with the same noodles which we ordered as rice noodle and only as going back to get silverware learned they were not gluten-free, so what were they made out of? Wheat was definitely in those noodles. The vegetables were blanched in hot water with no flavor at all. The chicken/rice dumpling? I can’t. Staff was friendly and very nice, atmosphere could use some maintenance.
