My parents asked to take my wife, daughter, and me out for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. We live in Bridgeton and usually head west/south when picking restaurants. When searching for places with gluten-free beer, we came across Hendel's and decided to try it. What a great find! The building had so much character and the outdoor space looked fun, although we ate inside. Our server, Megan, was great and even brought us a delicious piece of carrot cake for our anniversary. The menu had something for everyone, even gluten-free pasta for my mom and an extensive kid's menu that really excited my daughter. Everyone was happy with their diner selections. I can't say enough good things about our dinner experience at Hendel's. Thanks for all you do to run a fantastic restaurant!
