After our hike to Hengifoss, we each warmed up with a soup. Both the soup with meat and the vegan version were super tasty! For dessert we had a waffle and hazelnut ice cream, so delicious!! Highly recommended, there are vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free options & the woman was super friendly 😄 We would love to come back!

What a pleasant treat at the end of the trail from the falls! This quaint and tiny little truck serves us sheep's ice cream from their very own sheep roaming the hills. They're the only ones in Iceland to serve this up. We tried the rhubarb flavour, and it was smooth, dense, and still so delicious even on a rainy day.
If you are lactose intolerant (like us), you might fare better with this sheep ice cream (they have vegan and gluten-free options as well)
