Hero Certified Burgers

These guys are doing a great job limiting the use of “gluten” free buns. 5 stars from me. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Restaurant was clean, service was friendly and food was delicious. So nice to find a burger place that offers a delicious gluten free bun! Food was freshly made and served hot. Highly recommended.

It's hard to beat Hero Burgers's $10 "Signature Burger" deal, especially when it comes a heap of fries and a fountain drink you can refill to your heart's content. Burger: -There are plenty of toppings and sauces to dress your burger with, as well as an option to increase (for a small up-charge) the size of your patty to 6oz instead of the standard 4oz patty. - The Angus patty, known for it's tenderness and juiciness, is the meat of choice for every beef menu item, though it lacks any substantial flavour of its own. Thankfully, the wide variety of sauce options remedies that issue. Honestly, the entire burger is delicious, flavourful, and very filling, even with the 4oz patty. - I have not tried any other menu items besides the Signature Burger, as the price is not entirely justified. That being said, $10 is an incredible value for a high-quality meal. -All meat here is Halal, as far as I know. There are also vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Fries: -Not much to say besides the fact that they are soft inside, flavourful, and boast a very crispy exterior. I dock a star off here because this has not been consistent. Sometimes I get what feels like Michelin-star level fries, and other times I receive stale and room-temperature fries. That being said, the service is great and the employee(s) will fire up a new batch for you. Service: -Most employees at Hero Burgers are fantastic. The other day, Shamin prepared a very beautiful platter for my friend and I. He paid great attention to detail and crafted a burger that made me happy cry. He was also very polite and respectful. I mention his name in this review to recognize him for his excellent work ethic. -Another employee of importance is Wahab. His work ethic is similar to Shamin's, so I've had a similarly positive experience with him. -Last year, there was an employee who tried to cheat me out of getting the $10 deal. This is another reason I dock the star. I wasn't in the mood to argue, but I ended up paying $20+ for the meal instead... This is the only time it has happened so no worries. TLDR; -Great food, great service, cozy and peaceful atmosphere. Oh, and, incredible value if you get the $10 Signature Burger deal. 4/5
