Heron on the Ford

We were visiting friends and they took us for a spot of lunch. Lovely quaint feel to the place. We were lucky to visit on a sunny day so sat outside at one of the many outdoor tables. Decent choice of food and there was a good range of gluten free options if thats a must. Food was very tasty and was served quickly. Didnt see much of the inside but it struck me as the type of place that had that lovely cosy feel when the weather takes a turn. Dog friendly and plenty of parking. Definitely worthy of a visit.

Really lovely food and service. A customer at the bar pushed in front of my husband and the staff came over to apologise for his behaviour, which they didn't need to as it was totally not their fault, but it was such a nice thing to do. Both our meals were delicious and the choice is perfect for everyone in our family, from veggies to gluten intolerance. A nice space outside, and thoughtful touches like water bowls for dogs etc. We'll be back.
