We went at lunchtime and the whole experience was delightful. I am gluten intolerant and the menu is varied, the food cooked beautifully and was delicious. All while watching a heron catch a fish and a family of mum, dad and baby swans out for a swim

Gorgeous sunny location, wonderful service. My sister and I were lucky enough have Mya waiting on our table two days in a row (we returned with our mum the next day) and it really was standout, friendly, knowledgable, efficient service - a true credit to the Heron! We’d come from the Kingfisher where they didn’t really know what they were doing re coeliac, and here, the Heron really knew their stuff and how to deal with such a serious autoimmune disease regarding gluten! Food was super tasty and we are glad we went with the Heron. What a gem in Fleet!
