High Tide Restaurant and Bar

The ambiance was great, and you can't beat the location right next to the river. Great views and outdoor seating. Service was also decent, but the food was just OK. The lobster rolls were chunky, not mixed, which is fine if you prefer that style, but they were rather dry. My companions still enjoyed it. The broiled haddock (without crumbs) was not browned and was over salted but still tasted OK. The broccoli was mushy, but the rice was excellent. The blueberry pie was fine. I would definitely give it another chance if I lived here and didn't have dietary restrictions. Update: I have since learned that they do have gluten-free options. Ask your server for more details.

Went there today with my friend who has celiac disease, not only did our server Kaelyn make sure our questions got answered she also made sure to let us know that things had been taking a little longer to make as the order had been made incorrectly the first time and that the manager was making it themselves because of it. The manager we spoke to, Jen, was an absolutely amazing person answering everything and making sure my friend felt 100% comfortable and secure eating here. We had already been to multiple places where the only thing she would have been able to get was a salad, but thanks to the amazing workers of High Tide, my friend was able to enjoy a meal of chicken parm and garlic bread without having to be afraid! I was so pleasantly surprised by the amount of gluten- free choices that were tasty! My server Tanesha's attentiveness to mine and my child's needs, as well a just being super friendly has guaranteed that this will be a new go-to!
