We tried this restaurant on our way back from a ski spot called Boggus Basin (about a half an hour north )after we first moved here. It was good. We really like the clam chowder which is Fridays only. It’s one of our favorites we’ve ever had. In Boise we didn’t expect that it would be so fresh and homemade. They have gluten-free beer, which my wife was thrilled about. I had the delicious Hippie Shake. We have enjoyed the chowder and the Ruben the most so far.

This place has my absolute favorite fries in Boise. The atmosphere is perfect for after a hike or snow adventure, warm and relaxed. There aren't many breweries around here that make an ESB and their Thunder Money is an excellent example of one. They have gluten free and vegan options. Love the spicy beef salad, been having it for years. The clam chowder is delicious on Fridays and like all their soups, freshly made. If you are feeling, it their tuna melt is a surprise hit as well.
