Food here is made with love. Well thought out dishes that are layered with flavor. My only criticism is the gluten free bread from the supermarket. Not nice.

A great night out in the capital with friends. Another packed restaurant on a Wednesday night. J is a coeliac so mindful of menu selection but no need to worry. We chose the chefs choice (85 a head, which I think was 8 dishes each in total). Plus a couple of oysters for me 😏. We did half as gluten free and half normal. No problem. Service was excellent. A great range of tasty snacks with the smoked hapuka roe and fresh bread a real treat. As a main we shared a big piece of slow cooked lamb (heaps for all) with seasonal vege sides. A very tasty dessert (fruit bottom - kind of like a crust - topped with what I think was a coconut cream….). A bottle of Luta zephyr Chardonnay - plus an extra two glasses. For four of us it was $514.
