Just ok for gluten free. A few GF sides like sweet potato mash and collard greens, but don't understand why baked beans and potato salad aren't gluten free (they can be made so easily!). Lean brisket was good flavor but not as tender as other places. And really should have more than one BBQ sauce (but at least the one was GF).

We came here as part of a high school band group from Arizona who will be performing in the Memorial Day Parade. Arrangements had been made for Celiac (gluten-free) meals for the entire trip. Upon arrival asked about the GF pre-arrangements and was told he could eat everything but the bread. Had to advise manager and staff he couldn’t have the bread, the rolls, the cookies, or the mac and cheese. Was advised could eat a bowl of bbq meat and coleslaw. They offered to provide a salad. Apparently that was brought out while we stepped away from the table briefly and was taken back to the kitchen (according to others at our table). We partially blame the tour manager/group but also miffed at ignorance of what is or isn’t gluten free. Offer for a salad side was hollow because never got it. When making a return trip to DC will not return here. Recommend celiacs not come here.
