Hitchcock's Vegetarian Restaurant

What an amazing place, tucked away in Hull's old town! It's absolutely gorgeous inside, full of charm and character, large candles in bottles, all very atmospheric, and the perfect venue to celebrate my sister's 60th. From the moment we arrived the staff were lovely and so attentive, going above and beyond to look after us, including personally pointing out all the vegan dishes (practically all) as well as the gluten free options for the Coeliac in our party. The food is absolutely incredible! Everything was so delicious, from starters (served at the table) to the vast array of main course dishes AND desserts. They even gathered some of the staff to join in the singing of Happy Birthday. I'm not surprised that Hitchcocks has been in business for many years and is as popular as ever. Honestly can't recommend highly enough, and can't wait to go back! 😃

We went last night (27/4/23)as a group from Holderness Grange Hedon ...it was our first time and was excellent... My partner is gluten free and he was catered for so well and all his food was brought to him and he came home with a doggy bag as there was so much for him... We will definitely be returning especially at Christmas when my son is visiting over the Christmas week... He is a vegetarian and it will be wonderful to take him to a restaurant with so much choice... Especially the puddings... Thankyou so much for a fantastic evening ... The staff cannot do enough for you,. We can't wait to return🙂 Nella and Terry x
