Dined at Ho Jiak town hall several times, including a few lunches. And in my opinion is the best of the Ho Jiak group (although the oyster clay pot rice in Chatswood was delicious. This Friday, it was my last stop before heading home from a very long Friday lunch. The family requested Ho Jiak for dinner and I obliged with some take away. The service is always friendly with a good sense of humor. The food is fast and incredibly tasty. My regular dishes are XO puppies with crispy vermicelli noodles, barramundi with ginger and shallots or chilli sauce and the vegemite short rib- phenomenal. Some of these dishes are gluten free, which is essential for my family. If you are looking for something different. Something you cannot replicate at home and will have you craving weeks later, go to Ho Jiak Town Hall. The service, cocktails, food will keep you coming back.
