This was my first experience with German food and beer... To say the most in the least amount of words: I was impressed. The food, even though fried, was clean tasting and cooked excellently. The presence of a gluten free menu was also a very nice bonus (still a little cross-contamination, but not a significant amount). A very family-friendly experience and enticing atmosphere. We will be coming back whenever the urge for a good piece of schnitzel or sausage strikes... Even with the hour drive to it!
