Hoffbrau Steak & Grill House

Very glad we chose this over other local steakhouse options for a meal with the family. No trouble parking or making a reservation, and the space was clean with ample booth seating. Our server, Kat, was delightful and knew the answers to all of our questions – even the picky gluten free / vegetarian ones 😅 The food really impressed. My dad loved his steak, peppery and perfectly cooked. Sister’s chicken tasted great and there were multiple steamed vegetable sides to balance the meal. I really enjoyed my breaded catfish and grilled shrimp, and the hush puppies were delicious! The steamed spinach and broccoli were both so much tastier than anticipated, especially for a steak house in Texas 🤫 I recommend trying it if you’re looking for a local joint with great food and great service. Hope to go back before we leave town!

I have celiac, and like every place I go they cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination, but Assistant GM John went out of his way to make sure that our dining experience was as excellent, and uncontaminated as possible. Will definitely return when in the area!
