Being Gluten free it's very hard to find somewhere to eat that does a bit of everything. Having a partner who eats everything. We frequently eat there and the Gluten free fish and chips is delicious. Hollybush staff asked if there is anything I'd like. to give chef Steve couple of days notice and maybe he could prepare. We took advantage and decided to treat ourselves not go shopping for week and book table for 3 days running. I was not disappointed Steve the chef prepared gluten free steak and ale pie. Pasta carbonate with a twist of extras. And lamb mint sizzler . Everything was so tasty. Thank you Steve for being so accomadating really enjoyed it And the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will be a regular treat from now on. Thank you so much.

GLUTEN FREE AVAILABLE :- Writing this having just got home from The Hollybush in Cefn y Bedd. OBVIOUSLY, if there were to be any gluten in my food, I wouldn't know until tomorrow, BUT, having spoke to the CHEF (Steve) earlier and his son has dietary needs, I felt safe in his capable hands! The batter on my fish was so light and crispy and the chips and peas as you would expect really. Service from the waitress was, again, as expected and all were chatty too! My wife (non Coeliac) had a Southern fried/buttermilk burger with skin on fries, coleslaw and onion rings and she rated as a high 8/10. All in all, a very pleasant experience, so, VERY WELL DONE TO ALL !!!
