The Holts Arms is fairly local to us. A traditional pub restaurant with a reasonable size car park. It's a good choice for eating or dropping in just for a drink. The menu is quite varied with some common favourites, including battered cod and homemade chips, to homemade burgers and steaks. Unfortunately, the steak wasn't available on our last visit, so we had grilled chicken skewers on nan (gluten-free), which was well prepared and full of flavour. The staff (and cook) went out of their way to accommodate a gluten-free option for myself. If you are coeliac then this pub is listed as gluten friendly rather than certified gluten free so they will prepare dishes with gluten free ingredients but it's prepared in the same kitchen as gluten containing food, so no guarantees, but I was absolutely fine with this arrangement. Recommended.
