Holy Cow

I was on 22-12-2023 at Holy Cow with my mother in Aalborg. I am on Christmas holiday from Southern Jutland and we were going to the hospital in Aalborg. On the way home we decide to go in and eat somewhere. It shouldn't be that long as my mother is not quite at her best, but could just manage to eat a little and sit and enjoy some good food and a soft drink, relax and enjoy ourselves together and laugh a little. It was, in a way, a good experience, not service either. So bad in fact that I won't give any stars. We were in addition to my mother and I a total of 3 independent tables that went without getting our food after waiting 1 hour without any staff being around to inform us about anything. Only when my mother kindly asked the waitress when we could expect to receive our order was there communication. Her response was that it would take another 10-20 minutes. We politely said no thanks, paid for our sodas, (after again standing and waiting to pay) and then left the place. So we cannot in any way recommend Holy Cow in Aalborg. Since we didn't get our food either, I can't comment on whether the food would have been up to standard. I can say, however, that it is possible to get a gluten-free burger bun, which is not a given everywhere, so that is positive, but whether it tastes good remains to be seen. Nice burger experience, also when you are vegetarian or only eat chicken and you can choose gluten-free bread.
