Great time! We went around 8:30 and got two full racks of ribs, 1/4 chicken, brisket, and pulled pork and it was perfect for 6 people! Hot Sauce and Sweet Red were the favorite sauces. Was about ~$35 a person with drinks and nachos. We did the platters with the sides, would recommend the beans and the potato salad. We had a celiac and vegetarian and were well accommodated. Waiter was amazing and it was the best dinner we’ve had on our vacation! Never got his name but know he was born in Texas and worked there for 9 years! Warning: later in the night they could run out of mac and cheese and some meat cuts so don’t go too late! kitchen closes at 10!

They were willing to work with us on Gluten-Free which was nice. But you should know they have one fryer and the tater tots, wings, tortilla chips are all fried in the same oil as the wheat covered items. The chili has beer so it has gluten. Our daughter with celiac ate the tacos without the tortillas because those have wheat too. The waiter was kind enough to put the taco stuffings on beans for her as she could not eat the tortillas. I had a brisket slider. It was heaven. So good! I am finding I do not like the collard greens anywhere in his area because it seems like a lot of vinegar. My family loves them. We had Calaloo in Jamaica recently and I loved that so maybe I’m biased. The service was fast and attentive. Cute place. They have a famous drink but I don’t drink alcohol so I cannot comment on it. Game changer I think it is called. Fun place! Can have a wait of 90 minutes in the summer but the food comes quick.

A+++++ Thanksgiving eve take out. Online ordering off. Phone calls to the location - off. Drove in and got everybody’s ideal order at 445 pm. Happy family, happy w bbq. Gluten free options are known and listed. Ribs are great. Nachos are perfect. House salad made my wife and sister in law happy. Family of eight happy and smiling. We eat here 3x per year when staying at a VRBO/ Airbnb in Mt Pleasant / isle of palms - and it is always amazing. Brisket is wet and Texas calibre. Ribs are dry and amazing. Fried wings (not gluten free gf) - baked wings are GF. Death relish is legit and unique. Try it. Pulled pork is good. Great cocktails - got a margarita on the rocks and their gamechanger (an interpretation of Pusser’s Pain killer) - frozen, is delicious.
