Honeyduke Confections

One of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been! Super vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free friendly, delicious drinks and baked goods, and the owners are awesome. Worth it to drive out of the way for!

A very unique coffee house. Tucked away in the far corner of West Elmira (just past the point). Honeyduke first came to my attention at an event at Newtown Battlefield State Park. It has a friendly staff, a cozy atmosphere, and a strong gluten free option. After checking with Honeyduke staff at Newtown and at the store, Honeyduke has a commitment to maintaining gluten free options without risk of cross contamination. They have two separate cooking spaces to ensure that there isn’t cross contamination in the cooking process and they have a separate gluten free case for their food. The only fault I could find is it had some debris on the floor but it was tiny in comparison to many other establishments. Definitely a cute coffee house that has so much potential to grow into a community fixture with continued marketing to grow the attention of the potential customer.
