Hoof & Horn Butcher and Eatery

We used Hoof and Horn to cater for a large family reunion, and everything was fantastic! The food was delicious....everyone kept complimenting the seasoned pork and Raquette salad in particular. We had a mix of dietary needs (vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free, diabetic), and there was something for everyone. As the host, I really appreciated how easy they made it—everything was ready for pickup, complete with utensils and dressings. I don’t love cooking, so having great food without the stress made the whole event so much more enjoyable for me. Highly recommend!

As a vegetarian for over 25 years, I was hesitant to try H&H—it’s called a "butcher," after all—but I’m so glad I did! The menu includes a bunch of different meat-free dishes, with labels for vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. (which I really appreciate). The food is absolutely amazing...every dish is has incredible flavor and different combinations that work perfectly together. This is now our go-to spot to impress out-of-town friends, and our favorite date night restaurant. The tapas menu always has lots of vegetarian choices, and I love to go with my meat-eating partner and friends, since we all get to try a bunch of different dishes. The risotto is always my favorite—the chef changes it up throughout the year, and every version I’ve tried has been incredible. This is easily the best dining experience in the North Country, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. So happy to have this business in our community for both the meat-lovers and us vegetarians! Oh also - great cocktails!! :)
