We waited in line for almost half an hour with only three small groups in front of us when we entered the line. Our drinks weren’t great; the selection of beer is disappointing for a restaurant called “Hopdaddy.” My husband got the Toasty Italian, and it was fine. Nothing remarkable. I got the Farmhouse Deluxe burger with their “house-made gluten free bun.” The bun tasted straight out of 2006, it disintegrated immediately and tasted terrible, very grainy and gritty. I should have saved my $2.75 and just used a fork and knife like I usually do! We also got the Parmesan truffle fries and Parmesan truffle Brussels, neither of which had any truffle flavor, but both came with a tiny plastic cup of truffle aioli. The fries didn’t have the best texture and the flavor was disappointing for the truffle upcharge. The truffles were nice and crispy, but also had no truffle flavor unless you dipped them in the aioli. But dipping shredded Brussels sprouts in a thick aioli is not graceful! Overall, we were disappointed with Hopdaddy, and won’t be returning.

I liked the, but my wife and inlaws didn't. Their gluten free options are great. They had a special menu, and clearly took it seriously. Unfortunately ,from what I heard their thicker patties and buns leave something to be desired. My big suggestion? Put prices on the gluten free meny. As an aside, I loved how they had rodeo riding on tv. I have only lived in liberal states, so it was a treat to see a media product entirely packaged for a conservative audience. The aesthetic was definitely different and enjoyable to watch. For example, there was a prayer section with a close-up of a rider's impassioned face, and the pledge of allegiance got way more fanfare. That kind of cross cultural education is great.
