Hope Street Hotel

I'm a fan of mid-century modern furniture, so I appreciated the decor! Friendly and accommodating staff. Plenty of options for breakfast including gluten free. Evening meal had a limited menu, however there were gluten free options. It was a good walk from the train station, if you have a large suitcase I would suggest you get a cab as there's a long uphill walk. Close to shops and other places to eat. Would definitely return!

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable, all the amenities you could want. Light breezy air conditioned bedrooms, lots of soft white towels, with gowns and slippers. The in room tv has a menu to help you see what's on offer at the hotel. The bathroom was fabulous, a rain shower and seperate hoses, as well as a bath. You have a coffee machine, kettle and bottled water in the room. If you need lactose free milk, just call down to reception and someone will quickly deliver. We used the bar and 1931 restaurant, both brilliant and able to cater to our gluten free / dairy free needs. Booked a couple of hours in the spa too, which is modern and clean, swimming, sauna and steam room, with an outdoor heated hot tub. The location is about 15 minutes walk to the docks, between 2 cathedral's so it's difficult to get lost (but not impossible)😏.
