We had dinner here and the place was abit out of the way but the atmosphere was so cosy and our hostess was so lovely really down to earth friendly. I have celiacs disease and she was so interested in making my experience as stress free as possible. Our dogs loved it too slept just beside the fire.
The menu isn't to big but has all the northern English classics big portion sizes and deserts awh when I tell you the taste was five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Only negative thing I have to say is that some of the younger staff seem abit confused or disinterested but the older staff honestly make the experience so welcoming.

Visited for food and drinks.
After being seated and placing our drinks order we did wait a while for our drinks to be brought to the table (more than 15minutes) but appreciate that it was fairly busy.
Food is good. Gluten free options are available.
