We booked for Sunday lunch at fairly short notice, 10days for a party of 14, and the staff were able to accommodate us in one group in a cozy end of the bar.
The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was simple wholesome pub fayre, reasonably priced, with a choice of four roasts, specials and a kids menu. They were able to cater for special dietary requirements such as gluten free as well. They also have good traditional ales and cider and we were made most welcome.
