Tonight we had dinner at restaurant Boszicht in Echten with a group of 9 people. And let's be honest: it was a tasteful sabotage of all our future restaurant visits.
The staff? So friendly that you almost want to trade your family members for this service. They took every food request into account, whether it was gluten, lactose or just someone with an intense fear of coriander. Everything was possible. Everything was allowed. Everything came with a smile.
And then the food… Man, oh man, oh man. As if our taste buds were given a spa day with a 3 Michelin star massage. We were feasting, swooning and quietly crying with happiness at the last bite.
Small side note: Boszicht ruined our expectations so much that we are considering only eating there from now on or learning to cook at that level ourselves (but then we first have to book a new kitchen, new hands and a cooking course in the French Alps).
Conclusion:
Boszicht is not a restaurant. It is a standard-destroying culinary walhalla.
Advice: don't go there if you want to enjoy other restaurants as well...
