Me and my boyfriend stayed there for a week. We liked it very much, having in mind that the hotels in Barcelona are expensive and sometimes you don't get what you are paying for. We had nice breakfast-fruits, oats, pastry and local salami. I am gluten free and I brought my own bread. They saw me and offered me their options for sweets and bread as well. Eric was such a nice person who took care of my needs!! The pictures on the website show that the rooms are bigger but they are not as spacious as you think. However, we got smaller room without a corridor. Instead you enter and you are in front of your bed. The bathroom was as big as the room, pretty spacious in the end of the day. However we didn't have any ventilation there. They cleaned the room every day!! We were so close to tube and Sagrada! You have everything around, shops, restaurants, parks, bus stops and pharmacy. Overall, we are satisfied and we do recommend the place!

The hotel is in a great location. There is the metro a few minutes walk away to move elsewhere and the bus stops are close by. The Sagrada Familia is a 10 minute walk away and there is another metro there. The hotel itself is welcoming. The staff is kind. Reservation made with Booking, everything went smoothly. Payment by card (the one registered on booking). I booked a double room with a bathtub in the bathroom. It is a classic room, average for hotels in general. The bathroom is nice and big. The tub is not large, it doesn't fit two. Obviously the bidet is missing. In the room there was more or less everything. Wardrobe, safe, desk, bedside tables, reading lights, normal sockets and even USB sockets. The beds were two singles placed side by side. It is usually used, but usually a double bed sheet and blanket is used if you ask for a double bed. Here they were actually two separate singles side by side. The next morning we pointed it out to them and they put on the double stuff. There is no air circulation in the room so you have to open the window every time or you will smell a musty smell. There is a TV, but it is not smart nor did it give me the possibility to watch anything by connecting the phone. There is a mini fridge, but it is EMPTY. I don't understand how in a 4 star hotel the mini fridge is empty and, among other things, not cold. It seems to turn on with the room's power which is activated once the card is placed at the entrance. So useless. We had to buy water outside to have it inside. There is wifi in the structure. Too bad that in my room it only caught at the entrance and not in the rest of the room. Luckily I have free roaming otherwise it was useless. Furthermore, the wifi password only worked for the first 3 days. The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast. There is something for everyone. My girlfriend has celiac disease and we are both lactose intolerant. We had no problems. There is tea, coffee, lactose-free milk and also soy milk, juice or water. Eating ranges from sweet (croissants, cakes, muffins, normal and wholemeal bread with jam, etc.) to savory (sandwiches, ham, various cold cuts, sausages, etc.) to fruit. I was right to also book breakfast together with the room. All in all it's ok, but not 4☆.
