Hotel Montebello

We stayed at the Hotel Montebello with a tour group over New Year's Eve and the stay was extremely pleasant. The first contact with the nice lady at reception was very warm. We were able to communicate very well in English, although the lady's English was far better than mine. The other staff were also really friendly and responded to all requests. Gluten intolerance and vegetarian food were implemented without any problems, thank you very much. The rooms were clean, we could sleep well in the beds and our room was large enough and recently renovated. If one were to complain about something at a high level, it would be the lack of coat hooks for jackets and also in the bathroom for towels, as well as a storage space in the bathroom for cosmetics etc. But as I said, it was also possible without them. The food was consistently very tasty and plentiful, especially the 7-course menu on New Year's Eve was a special treat. They lovingly looked after our well-being throughout. Very clean rooms, but beds are a bit small. Area is calm during the night and you can enjoy on the balcony. Breakfast has gluten free options. Overall good value for the price.
