We spent 4 nights here, and really loved it. The owners Gyda (with an eth) and Halli, and their mainly family staff are kind and approachable, the rooms and beds comfortable, food locally sourced and very good (gluten free available). There is a hot tub. The hotel is set in the flatlands around a kilometer from the sea, surrounded by horses and the songs of marsh birds. Just a short drive from route 1, we found it a good place from which to access the sights and experiences of South Iceland. Hotel Vos is in its first season, and will undoubtedly develop further. It offered us a truly Icelandic experience.
