On a weekend away at Kingscliff, stopped off for lunch at House of Gabriel, Tumblegum. A beaut spot by the river. Chef went out of his way to serve up dishes that were coeliac gluten free - super fresh and tasty. Good to see the old bedford truck arrive delivering the honey😀

It was such a beautiful evening for the first of the summer barbecues. The food was superb (aromas alone were worth it!), prompt and friendly service, and lovely atmosphere. And the view, of course, was stunning.
I had the prawn burger (delicious!), and everyone else had the brisket burger, which they loved. And the pavlova to follow was perfect (wish I could make such a great pav!)
e had a really really lovely evening. And thank you also for having gluten free buns, for my friend with a major gluten intolerance.
A very much recommend the summer barbecue!
