Came here on a Monday night to find it pretty empty. The people I came with said it’s their favorite local Indian restaurant.
We ordered a samosa appetizer that came in a bowl and sauce. I didn’t have it due to gluten but they said it was a little spicy and delicious.
We all then shared the aloo gobi, chicken tandoori with curry sauce, okra and black lentils. I loved the aloo gobi. Slightly spicy and very flavorful! The tandoori chicken was moist and flavorful and didn’t need the sauce so glad it came on the side. Okra wasn’t crispy enough so we told the owner and she is teaching her son how to cook things properly.
The family owned restaurant has a great vibe and you can talk to the owners directly about the meals. If you’re lucky you can even try the mom’s own personal curry. But only if you’re really lucky.
Will be back again! We had so much food we took most of it home and happy to have seconds.
