HuHot Mongolian Grill

Went there last night, told the cooks we had someone in our group with celiac disease and they had to clean the grill. They put up so much of a fight for some reason. They waited around for a bit before actually cleaning the grill, and when they got to it- the person cleaning the spot did a careless job and still left the grill messy. The person asked if we wanted the grill cleaned more to which I replied "yes, please" seeing as the grill was not clean- they brought out a manager. The manager said that there were new regulations in place and that their method of cleaning had NO risk of cross contamination. Felt light headed and stomach was uneasy all night. Both being symptoms of cross contamination. Absolutely unacceptable. You would not treat someone with a peanut or shellfish allergy this way.

The hostest called out so the rest of the staff was filling in plus doing their own jobs. They did great. The food here is always wonderful. Even if you have allergies, this is a restaurant you can eat at without worry, just enjoy. They even have gluten free soy sauce!
