Humble: Simply Good Pies

If you've been to Portland, OR, this place competes with the legendary "Lauretta Jeans"! As transplants, we've been searching for a genuine replacement of our favorite pie place, and this one may take the cake... Their banana cream pie isn't that artificial yellow nonsense that is so common around here, and the lemon tart was actually full of lemon zest! Prices are reasonable & expected for the quality. The fact I could taste the real butter in the crust as it crumbled apart says everything you need to know about this place! BONUS: they've got gluten friendly options!

Happy Pi Day! Tried it today on a whim, although I have known about their delicious offerings from neighbors in East Dallas. Picked up gluten-free cherry pie and regular bayogoo. Both were absolutely delicious, and the details on each were perfection. Can't wait to make them a regular in my rotation for host gifts.
