Hy-Vee Grocery Store

I love the wide selection at Hy-Vee (especially for gluten free and sensitive stomach friendly options), but all of their stores are always extremely overwhelming and overstimulating to me even as a low-support needs autistic person. Wider isles, lower lighting, foot traffic paint/signs and easier to navigate selections would help a lot.

We used HyVee catering, bakery, and floral for our wedding last week. The food and the cake were a huge hit with all the guests! Our gluten free guests were accommodated, and we had food left over for the rest of the weekend. The team was great at serving and cleaning up the kitchen after dinner. They were wonderful to work with overall, and we will definitely be using them for future events. My experience with floral was less than ideal throughout the entire process. I worked with Cassandra who does the wedding designs. The communication between her and I was lacking the entire process. There were changes I had made that were not accounted for, as well as miscommunications on her end. I did not feel confident that I was going to get the flowers that I had asked or paid for. I was in the store two weeks before the wedding to pay for all of my services, and floral was the only area I had issues with. My order was not complete, and I was unable to pay for the flowers because Cassandra was not in the store. I then later spoke to Cassandra and was not reassured that my flowers would be completed correctly. My flowers were then an hour and a half late on the day of the wedding. I have never had a bad experience with HyVee in the past, but I will definitely not be using floral from this location any time soon.
