Hy-Vee Grocery Store

As a first timer at a Hy-Vee grocery store- I was super impressed. The store was clean, well planned, and well lit. The prices are high, but I feel it's worth it with the amount of options they have. I'll say my biggest compliment is the plant based/ vegan section!! Omg I was in heaven seeing so many vegan friendly options. They have an aisle for food allergies (gluten free/nut free/etc) and it was so wonderful to see such inclusion in a store. I personally chose to be vegan, but I have a pretty serious dairy allergy which makes grocery shopping feel like such a chore. It was amazing to feel like I had OPTIONS!!! ✨ Especially in a smaller town such as Sioux city. My expectations were met and exceeded. Thanks for providing for all walks of life!! So appreciated. Also, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The gentleman at self checkout helped me with my pumpkin pricing and a gentleman outside collecting carts offered me one for said pumpkin. So friendly and kind. Hats off!!
